What is National Pension Week?
National Pension Week is a national programme of pension education, public participation, stakeholder dialogue and engagement focused on helping Nigerians better understand pensions and retirement planning.
Do I need to register?
Registration is required or recommended for activities where capacity, accreditation, livestream reminders or participant verification are needed. Use the Take Part page to choose the correct route.
Is participation free?
Any fee or access requirement will be stated clearly on the relevant event or registration page before you submit a registration.
Can I watch online?
Sessions published with a Watch Live option will be available through the NPW live experience and approved streaming channels.
Dates, places and programme information
Who organises National Pension Week?
The National Pension Commission (PenCom) is the lead institutional authority for National Pension Week information. The official platform will identify event partners and collaborators when they are publicly announced.
When is National Pension Week 2026?
Use the Programme for the current published schedule. It is the authoritative public source for event days, times and programme changes.
Where will activities take place?
National Pension Week combines online activity with physical events. Confirmed location information is shown on the Programme and, where applicable, in registration information.
Youth activities and competitions
Can students enter the competitions directly?
Competition entry will be provided through the official Youth & Competitions pages when an entry route is available. The published competition page will state eligibility, verification and parent or guardian consent requirements where applicable.
Where can I find competition rules and dates?
Use the relevant competition page under Youth & Competitions. Only rules, dates and entry actions published there should be treated as current.
Business owners and the self-employed
Who can attend the SME Fair?
The SME Fair is designed for entrepreneurs, self-employed professionals, SMEs and interested members of the public. Attendance and exhibitor participation are separate pathways; see the SME Fair page for the options currently available.
What is the Personal Pension Plan?
The Personal Pension Plan (PPP) is a voluntary retirement savings arrangement established by PenCom for eligible self-employed persons, informal-sector workers and other eligible contributors under the applicable guidelines.

How will I know if my registration was successful?
Where registration is active, the registration flow will show a completion state and provide the confirmation method supported for that activity. Keep any registration reference provided to you.
